Helpjuice provides a customizable "Contact Us" form for your knowledge base. By default, submissions are sent to the account owner's email. However, you can change the recipient email address to ensure inquiries reach the appropriate team member.

In this article, you’ll learn:

  • How to change the email recipient for contact form submissions
  • How to customize the subject line of the contact form emails
  • How to add reCAPTCHA to the contact form to prevent spam

Changing the Email Recipient

To modify the email address where contact form submissions are sent:

  • Click on your Profile Picture > Settings.
  • Navigate to the Contact Form section.
  • In the Support E-mail field, enter the desired email address.
  • Save your changes.

If this field is left empty, the account owner will receive the contact form emails.

Default Subject

By default, the subject line for these emails is set to: [Support] {{ question.name }}
You can customize this subject line to better suit your needs.

Adding reCAPTCHA to the Contact Form

To prevent spam submissions, you can add Google reCAPTCHA to your contact form:

  • Generate a v2 key pair at Google reCAPTCHA Admin.
  • Access your Helpjuice subdomain at your-subdomain.helpjuice.com/admin/settings/contact_form
  • Fill in the reCAPTCHA fields with the keys obtained from Google.
  • Submit a customization request to Helpjuice support, and they will implement it for you. For more information on how to request a customization see How To Submit Customization Requests.

Best Practices

  • Regularly monitor the email account receiving contact form submissions to ensure timely responses.
  • Customize the subject line to reflect the nature of the inquiries for better organization.
  • Implement reCAPTCHA to reduce spam and ensure genuine submissions.
