Customize where users land after signing in, based on their role

You can configure what users see right after signing in—whether it's the Dashboard, Support Home, or something role-specific. This ensures the experience is tailored to user access levels and streamlines navigation.

How to Update the Sign In Behavior
- Click your Profile Picture
- Select Settings
- In Settings, go to User Behavior & Tracking.
- Under Sign In Behavior, choose one of these options:
- Show Dashboard
- Show Support Home to Viewers
- Show Dashboard to Super Admins
- Show Support Home to Everyone
Behavior Options and Their Effects
Show Dashboard
All users are directed to the Dashboard after signing in.
Show Support Home to Viewers
Internal Viewers are taken to Support Home (your homepage); all other user types (Super Admins, Administrators, Collaborators, Draft Writers) go to the Dashboard.
Internal viewers don’t have Dashboard access in this setting, but they will always have access to the Profile section.
Show Dashboard to Super Admins
Super Administrators land on the Dashboard; all other users are redirected to Support Home.
Show Support Home to Everyone
Every user - regardless of role - is redirected to Support Home.
Customizing the Sign In Page
You can fully tailor the look of your sign-in page to align with your branding: Change styles, colors, and layout in the Customize Area.

Best Practices
- Choose the redirect option that best fits your user workflows - Dashboard is ideal for power users, Support Home is more user/customer friendly.
- Maintain consistency: changes to sign-in behavior should align with your overall user experience strategy.
- Keep your branding cohesive by applying similar visual themes to the sign-in page and your KB pages.
